W. P. "Bill" Leibensperger
International Director
1977-79
William P. Leibensperger, of Columbus, Ohio, was elected to serve a two-year
term as a member of The International Association of Lions' Clubs' Board of
Directors at the Association's 60th Annual Convention, June 29-July 2,1977, in
New Orleans, Louisiana.
Past International Director Leibensperger, was an insurance agency manager.
Past International Director Leibensperger served as President of his Hilltop
Lions Club, was a Zone Chairman for three terms, District Governor of District
13-F and also Chairman of the Council of Governors, Multiple District 13.
Past International Director Leibensperger served as a Trustee of Pilot Dogs,
Inc. and served as a Trustee and member of the Executive Committee of the Ohio
Society to Prevent Blindness.
Additionally, he recorded perfect attendance and received the 100%
Governor's Award, the Ambassador of Goodwill Award, Melvin Jones Fellowship, six
Presidential Awards, and an Extension Award.
